Window Open, Driving Rain, Flooding in Medford
Leaving windows open can lead to unintended consequences, as depicted in this Before Photo in a Medford home. The carpet was saturated, more so than appears here. SERVPRO techs removed the carpet and the padding, which acted like a giant sponge. Our goal was to protect this first-floor plywood subfloor from water damage and demolition. This saved our happy customers a lot of money. The After Photo is not quite the result yet. We will again vacuum up pooling water and then let our advanced equipment complete the drying. We can monitor the progress with moisture meters and a thermal camera until standards of moisture content are achieved.
